Ajax appoints Youth Coach

Ajax Cape Town is proud to announce that they have appointed David Nyathi as a coach in their Youth Academy.
David will coach the Ajax Cape Town U12 team.
The Ajax CEO George Comitis said, “David is an experienced ex-professional player. Having represented South Africa 45 times, Davids brings a wealth of experience and his appointment will benefit our young players.
It’s not often an ex-player and coach of his calibre is available and we are sure that he will be an asset to the club.”
David was a star player during his days playing professional football. He played Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town Spurs before moving to the lucrative overseas football market.
During his time at Cape Town Spurs he won two league titles amongst other awards.
David also played for Tenerife (Canary Islands), FC St. Gallen (Switzerland), Cagliari(Sardinia, Italy), and Ankaragücü (Turkey).
He was included in the South Africa national football team that travelled to France for the 1998 FIFA World Cup.
